The Board's membership includes, senior personnel from public, private and voluntary and community organisations in Leicestershire.

Meetings are held quarterly.

LLCLP provides Secretariat – the Board is now taking a key role within the Governance structure for the Multi Area Agreement. The Board is developing a Skills Plan to identify where the gaps are and to influence partners to work together on these. They are particularly focussing on the development of Sector based employer/provider partnerships focusing on all aspects of workforce development from supporting the  engagement and recruitment of people from the most disadvantaged backgrounds into employment, linking with Train to Gain to support ongoing development within a context of a unified training offer.
