Family Learning Working Group

Convenor:	LLCLP Team
Organisations involved:	LLCLP team, Leicestershire LSC, City and County FE Colleges, Libraries and museums, both City and County Councils, Pre School Alliance, WEA, Surestart, Fun and Families, nextstep, Early Years Service, Extended Schools, Leicestershire and Leicester Arts with support from the BBC and Campaign for Learning.
Purpose:	Supporting Family Learning, including national campaigns such as the Family Learning Week and organising local conference to help practitioners interested or working in the family learning field.
Activity:	The Week campaign and local Conference continue to help practitioners to share and develop good practice. Strengthen the role and value of Family Learning in attracting new learners in order to widen participation, raise achievement and promote social inclusion. Reviewing the purpose of the group now that it has raised the profile of FL. NLDC, core, partners contributions
