- Bring together Public Service employers in Leicester City and Leicestershire, to develop a wide range of skills, knowledge and experiences in the field of human resources, staff training and learning and development through collaborative working,
- Strengthen the skills of Leicestershire's Public Service workforce
(see Members Charter for more details),
- Create opportunities for partnership working amongst organisations to improve relationships and collaboration,
- Raise the profile and perceived value of working in the Public Service, making it both a preferred career option and a route to career progression, particularly for young people and under represented groups,
- Support services providing information, advice and guidance and encourage the interest of young people to choose careers within the Public Service,
- Support the work of the local Education Business Link organisation in stimulating demand for young people to consider careers, including apprenticeships, in the Public Service,
- Develop, publicise, promote and celebrate the common aims, priorities and achievements of the Compact. |
