Board

The Board members working at senior level represent key stakeholders and partners across the city and county. The Board sets the strategic direction for LLCLP and provides a steer for activity. The composition of the Board provides the mandate for the Partnership to operate.

In 2008 the sub regional IAG Board and Personal and Community Learning Board were merged within the Learning Partnership Board. Membership of the Board was extended to support those areas of work.

The Board includes representatives of the Leicestershire County Council and Leicester City Council, City and County FE colleges, the Leicester Shire Economic Partnership (LSEP), Government Office East Midlands, Leicestershire Learning and Skills Council (LSC), Connexions, City and County post –16 schools, the Universities, Employers, Jobcentre Plus, Ufi-learndirect, CVS Community Partnership and WEA, Business Link, Leicester Shire and Rutland Sports Partnership, Probation Service, Private Training providers working with adults and young people.
